Today my mentor was off island, so he printed me out some blue prints of the next model that I would be working on. It is a house that Sand Castle is building so I will be able to use that as a representation of the house. I did the same process. Cut each of the blue prints out section by section, then used spray glue and pasted them on poster board. Cut each piece once it had dried. I haven't started working on putting it together yet because this house is much more complex than the last house that I did. My motor would like to do the entire foundation rather than just the building. So I will have to do the pool, pool house, trees, front and back yard, and trees. Since I'm not really sure how to do that I am waiting. But I started to finish my previous model by putting the roof on. It was a little challenging because two sections of the roof intersected so I had to measure and trim sections of the side so that they could fit together. I think that it looks pretty good considering the fact that it is really the first model I have ever built. So I'm pretty satisfied with it. I'll be posting a few photos below this to show what it looks like.
