Art and Polynomials
For this project we used our knowledge of polynomials that we learned in class and created an image from an original image by using polynomials.
For this project we chose an image with a lot of different curves and drew lines on the curves and created polynomials from the image and using those polynomials created a new image. I thought that this project was fun because I liked doing the equations and creating the image. I really enjoyed this project.
Lila's Problem
I was particularly proud of Lila’s Problem because of the
challenge it was to come up with the problem. To give an overview, for this
Mini-Project, each student had to answer a Problem that consisted of linear
programing. And after that create your own linear programming problem. I was
proud of this because I had to write my own math problem that made sense. It
was very challenging because I had a hard time making it so it would fit on a
piece of graph paper, and whether to make the minimum or maximum the highest
amount according to my problem. I had learned how to correctly do and write a
linear programing problem which was an achievement for me overall. I enjoyed
this project mainly because of the challenge and that I could do it. Which made
it a fun project.
